Douglas E. Congdon is a writer, boater, and futurist living in Upstate South Carolina. He is the author of the novels, Heat 30:1, depicting events in Dodge City, Kansas, in 2025; its sequel, Above Sea Level, set in Savannah, Georgia, and Dodge City in 2048; and The Second Convention: America, 2036, taking place in South Carolina.
